Canadian actor Ryan Grantham has made the news headlines in the past two years for all the wrong reasons. Recently on Wednesday, 21 September 2022, he was handed a life sentence in the British Columbia Supreme Court, Vancouver for killing his own mother back in 2020.
Ryan committed this wicked crime back on 31 March 2020 when he shot his mother dead while she was playing piano. As per his sister, Ryan was fighting mental health issues and had difficulties weeks before he pulled the trigger on his own mother.

Ryan will not be eligible for parole for 14 years. Besides, he is getting treatment for his mental illness while in jail. As per Justice Kathleen Ker, he is showing improvement.
After the second-degree murder of his mother, Ryan allegedly planned to kill Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. He even loaded his car with guns and ammunition as he planned to go to Justin’s residence.
However, Ryan later decided not to proceed with his plan and instead tuned himself on to Vancouver police headquarters.
