It's the final countdown for designers as Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week is just days away (September 5 – 12), and while most are running around to beat the clock, designer and stylist Rachel Zoe is focusing on family and yes, sleeping. "I try to spend as much time with my son because I know next week is going to be crazy, but trying to sleep when possible because I know I’m not going to next week," Zoe told InStyle.com when we caught up with her at the launch of Covet Fashion’s gaming app in New York (she is the app’s Style Ambassador). The designer, who is presenting her 2014 spring/summer collection on Wednesday, September 11th at Lincoln Center, admitted she worked on the line for some time "changing it, restyling it, and re-imaging it," that now she is channeling her focus back to family. To break away from the hectic schedule of presenting and running to see shows like Proenza Schouler and Marc Jacobs, you'll find Zoe at home, "in my bed, in my bathrobe, on a ton of pillows," she said. "I literally collapse and turn on Friends or one of the Twilight [films], preferably one, three or five, and that will take my brain out. But mostly it’s really just snuggling with my son and if I can do that and we can order in take-out, I’m good." We "die!" Click below to see the full list of New York Fashion Week schedule.
